Dhaka Dominators: The Bangladesh Premier League has brought many superstars together on one platform. It started in 2012 and has become one of the biggest hits in domestic T20 cricket. Dhaka Dominators made their third-highest BPL total in the 2020 season, which came against Khulna Tigers. They made it in the 42nd game of the season at Mirpur Stadium. Khulna won the toss and decided to bowl first. In their innings, Dhaka lost their star batter Tamim Iqbal (1) in the second over. But Mominul Haque batted well but was unfortuante to miss his century. He made 91 off 59 balls.
In the end, Mahedi Hasan also played a good innings of 68 off 36 balls. Thus, Dhaka made a big total of 205/4 in their first innings. But they couldn’t defend the title. Khulna got off to a flying start as it chased the target, with two consecutive 70-plus run partnerships. Najmul Hossain Shanto made a brilliant century of 115 off 57 balls, with 8 fours and 7 sixes. Khulna chased down the target in 18.1 overs and made 207/2. Hence, the third-highest total for Comilla came in a losing cause.

The second-highest BPL total for the Dhaka Dominators came in a chase. It came in the 2019 season when they locked horns against Chattogram Challengers. Dhaka won the toss and decided to bowl. Batting first, the Chattogram Challengers got off to a good start with a three 50-plus partnerships for the first three wickets. Lendl Simmons (57 off 36) and skipper Mahmudullah (59 off 28) made half centuries each.
The decision to bowl first proved to be very bad for Dhaka. However, they also started well, with Mominul Haque scoring 52 off 35 balls. But there was no other big score from the batters. Dhaka tried hard but only managed 205 all out in 20 overs. Thus, they lost the game by 16 runs, and their second highest total also came in a losing cause.

Dhaka Dominators scored their highest total of the Bangladesh Premier League in the 2017 season against Rajshahi Kings. It started with Dhaka winning the toss and deciding to bat first. Dhaka’s innings began with a 129-run opening partnership, which set the tone for the rest of their innings. Joe Denly played a rather slow inning of 53 off 54 balls. But on the other hand, Sunil Narine was at his absolute best with the bat.
He scored a flying fifty and made 69 off 34 balls, with four fours and six sixes. Thus, Dhaka scored a big total of 205/5 in their first innings. Rajshahi Kings also struggled with the bat in response. They lost their first four wickets for just 19 runs in 5.2 overs. Shakib Al Hasan bowled pretty well for his 4/8 in four overs. Rajshahi got all out for just 106 runs in 18.3 overs and lost the game by 99 runs.
