Stats suggest that the Mumbai Indians are the most successful franchise in the history of the Indian Premier League. But they are not as consistent as Chennai Super Kings when it comes to playing in the playoffs in the IPL. CSK has also won the cash-rich league four times in total: in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021.

Apart from winning four seasons, Chennai has ended as runners-up in five editions as well. And here we will cover the list of IPL finals that Chennai has played so far.
