Brisbane Heat made their mark when they became only the second champions in Big Bash League history when they defeated the Perth Scorchers in the final of the 2012-13 season to clinch their maiden title. But, since then, they haven’t played any finals. In fact, they have only finished in the top three twice after that.
That’s why the franchise has done many experiments to improve their performance. And in doing so, they have appointed 10 captains so far for the Heat in the BBL. Jimmy Peirson is the current captain of the team, and he is leading the side in the BBL 2022–23. So let’s check the list of captains for the Brisbane Heat in the BBL.
