The Big Bash League (BBL) is an Australian T20 cricket league, inaugurated in 2011 by the Australian cricket board. Eight city-based franchise teams take part in this competition. The Big Bash League has had six different winners in its ten seasons, and Perth Scorchers is the most successful team in BBL with 4 Big Bash titles.

BBL 2011-12 Winner
The inaugural season of Big Bash was won by Sydney Sixers. The team was led by Steven Smith, and Moises Henriques scored 70 runs in the final and won player of the match in the final. Perth Scorchers finished as runners-up. Marcus North was the captain of Perth Scorchers in BBL 2011-12.
BBL Champions 2012-13
The Final of the second season of BBL was played between Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers at Perth. Brisbane Heat won the game and won their maiden BBL title. The Brisbane team was led by Chris Hartley. Perth Scorchers finished at second place in BBL 2012-13.
Big Bash 2013-14 Winner
The BBL 2013-14 was won by Perth Scorchers. Simon Katich was the captain of Perth Scorchers in BBL 2013-14, and Brad Hogg won player of the match on the night of the final for his 2/17 in his four overs. Hobart Hurricanes finished as runners-up.
Big Bash League Winner 2014-15
Perth Scorchers won their 2nd BBL title in BBL 2014-15. They defeated Sydney Sixers on the night of the BBL finals. Adam Voges led the Perth team in BBL 2014-15. Shaun Marsh won the player of the match award for his 73 runs in 59 balls in the finals.
BBL 2015-16 Winner
The 2015-16 BBL title was won by Sydney Thunder. The final was played between Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars. Mike Hussey was the captain of the Sydney Thunder team. Usman Khawaja won the player of the match award for his 70 runs in 40 balls in the finals.
Winner of BBL 2016-17
Perth Scorchers won their 3rd title in BBL 2016-17. They defeated Sydney Sixers by nine wickets in the finals. Jhye Richardson won the player of the match award for his 3/30 in 4 overs.
BBL 2017-18 Winner
Adelaide Strikers won the BBL 2017-18 by defeating the Hobart Hurricanes team. It was the 2nd title of Adelaide Strikers. Travis Head was the captain of Adelaide Strikers.
BBL 2018-19 Champion
The BBL 2018-19 was won by Melbourne Renegades. Melbourne Renegade defeats Melbourne Stars by 13 runs in the finals. Aaron Finch was the captain of Melbourne Renegades.
BBL 2019-20 Winner
Sydney Sixers won their 2nd BBL title in BBL 2019-20. They defeated Melbourne Stars by 19 runs in the finals. The team was led by Moises Henriques.
BBL 2020-21 Title Winner
The BBL 2020-21 was won by Sydney Sixers. It was the 3rd BBL title for Sydney Sixers. Sydney Sixers defeated Perth Scorchers by 27 runs and won their 3rd title. The Sixers team was led by Moises Henriques, and it was the 2nd BBL title for Henriques as captain.
Big Bash 2021-22 Winner
This Edition of Big bash was won by Perth Scorchers after defeating Sydney Sixers in the final match. Perth Scorchers made 171 runs batting first and they bowled out SS at just 92 runs, thus winning the final by 79 runs.
Big Bash 2022-23 Winner
Perth Scorchers have won last two editions of BBL Trophy. Brisbane heat was the runnersup in the last edition of Big Bash. Scorchers won the final match by 5 wickets.
