1. Alzarri Joseph (6 Wickets for 12)
The right-arm medium pacer of the Mumbai Indians is at the top position for achieving the best bowling figure in IPL. He is actually a West Indies medium pacer who played for Mumbai Indians in 2019 and took 6 wickets for 12 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 19th match of the IPL 2019. Mumbai Indians faced Sunrisers Hyderabad where Mumbai batted first and set a target of 137 runs for Hyderabad, but Hyderabad batters could not handle Joseph and the entire squad was bowled out at 96 runs only, Alzarri Joseph was named Man of the Match for his incredible bowling performance.
2. Sohail Tanveer (6 Wickets for 14)
Sohail Tanveer (Pakistan) is the next name on the list who is sitting in the 2nd position for the best bowling figure in IPL. Sohail Tanveer was a part of the Rajasthan Royals in 2008. In the inaugural session of the IPL, Sohail Tanveer took 6 wickets for 14 runs while playing against Chennai Super Kings in the 24th match of the IPL 2008 and the excellent bowling performance of Tanveer stopped Chennai batters at 109 runs at Jaipur. Rajasthan did not find any difficulties and easily achieved the target in just 14.2 overs, and Sohail Tanveer was named Man of the match.
3. Adam Zampa (6 Wickets for 19)
Adam Zampa is in the number 3 position for getting the best bowling figure in the history of IPL. In the 2016 IPL, Adam Zampa was a part of the Rising Pune Supergiants and he took 6 wickets for 19 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the 14th match of the IPL 2016, Hyderabad and Pune faced each other where Hyderabad set a target of 138 runs for Pune but their batters could not perform well and lost the match by 4 runs. But Adam Zampa was named Man of the Match for his superb bowling effort.
4. Anil Kumble (5 Wickets for 5)
The Indian leg break spinner, Anil Kumble who was included in Royal Challenger Bangalore in the 2009 IPL session is listed at the number 4 position for achieving the best bowling figure in the Indian Premier League. While playing against Rajasthan Royals, RCB batters could make only 133 runs in 20 overs and gave a target of 134 runs to the Royals. The target was not so big but Kumble saved the match by taking 5 wickets for 5 runs and bowled out the entire Rajasthan squad at 58 runs only.
5. Ishant Sharma (5 Wickets for 12)
Ishant Sharma, who is a pacer of the Indian cricket team, has played for the Deccan Chargers in the IPL 2011, and he currently stands at the number 5th position for the IPL best bowling figures. While playing against the Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the 32nd match of the IPL 2011, Ishant Sharma took 5 incredible wickets for Deccan Chargers and stopped the Tuskers from achieving the target. Ishant Sharma was appreciated for his bowling performance and saved the match for which he was named Man of the Match.
