BBL 2011-12 Final Match
The final of the inaugural season of BBL was played between Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers at Perth on January 28, 2012. Perth Scorcher batted first and made 156 runs, and Sydney Sixers easily chased the target and won the match by seven wickets.
BBL Final Match 2012-13
The final of the BBL 2012-13 was played between Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers at Perth on January 19, 2013. Brisbane Heat batted first and made 167 runs, and Joe Burns was the top scorer for Brisbane with 43 runs in the final. Perth Scorcher could not chase the target, and Brisbane Heat won the game by 34 runs and won their first-ever BBL title.
BBL Final 2013-14
The BBL 2013-14 final was played between Perth Scorchers and Hobart Hurricanes. Perth Scorchers batted first and made 191 runs, and Shaun Marsh made not out 63 runs for Perth Scorchers in the final. Hobart Hurricanes failed to chase the target, and Perth Scorchers won the match by 39 runs and also won their first-ever BBL title.
BBL Finals 2014-15
The final of the BBL 2014-15 was played between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers at Canberra on January 28, 2015. Sydney Sixers batted first and made 147 runs, and Perth Scorchers chased the target and won the match by four wickets. Shaun Marsh scored most 73 runs for Perth Scorchers in the final and won the player of the match award.
Big Bash Final 2015-16
The final of the BBL 2015-16 was held on January 24, 2016, at Melbourne between Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder. Melbourne Stars batted first and made 176 runs. Kevin Pietersen scored the most 74 runs in 1st inning for Melbourne Stars. Sydney Thunder chased the target in 2nd inning and won the match by three wickets with three balls remaining. Usman Khawaja scored the most 70 runs for Sydney Thunder. It was the first BBL title for Sydney Thunder. Usman Khawaja won the player of the match award in the final.
Big Bash Final match of 2016-17
The final of the BBL 2016-17 was played between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers on January 28, 2017, at Perth. Sydney Sixers batted first and made 141 runs, and Perth Scorchers easily chased the target and won the match by nine wickets with 25 balls remaining. It was the 3rd BBL title for Perth Scorchers.
BBL Final of 2017-18
The final of BBL 2017-18 was played between Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes at Adelaide on February 4, 2018. Adelaide Strikers batted first and made 202 runs in 1st innings. Jake Weatherald scored a brilliant century for the Adelaide team in the final. Hobart Hurricanes failed to chase the target, and Adelaide won the match by 25 runs. It was the first BBL title for the Adelaide team. Jake Weatherald won the player of the match award for his brilliant 115 runs in just 70 balls.
Big Bash 2018-19 Final
The final of BBL 2018-19 was played between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars at Melbourne on February 17, 2019. Melbourne Renegades batted first and made 145 runs, and Melbourne Stars failed to chase the target, and Renegades won the game by 13 runs. Dan Christian of Melbourne Renegades won the player of the match award for his brilliant all-round performance. He scored 38 not outruns and took two wickets with the ball. It was the first BBL title for Melbourne Renegades.
BBL Finals of 2019-20
The final of BBL 2019-20 was played between Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars in Sydney on February 8, 2020. The match was reduced to 12 overs because of rain. Sydney Sixers batted first and made 116 runs. Josh Philippe scored most 52 runs for Sydney Sixers in the final. Melbourne Stars failed to chase the target, and Sixers won the match by 19 runs. Josh Philippe won the player of the match award in the finals. It was the 2nd BBL title for Sydney Sixers.
BBL Finals 2020-21
The final of BBL 2020-21 was played between Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers in Sydney on February 6, 2021. Sydney Sixers batted first and made 188 runs. James Vince scored the most 95 runs for Sydney Sixers. Perth Scorchers failed to chase the target, and Sydney Sixers won the match by 27 runs and won their 3rd BBL title. James Vince won the player of the match award in the finals.
BBL Final Match 2021-22
The final of BBL 2021-22 is set to be held between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers on January 28, 2022, at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne.
