The schedule of the 2023 ODI World Cup in India was announced on Tuesday. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that India will host the tournament in ten different stadiums. It will have ten top teams from around the world that will make the tournament worth watching, and only one will come out victorious. England won the last edition at home, beating New Zealand in the final.
This tournament will kick off with the rematch of the last final on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The tournament will see a total of 48 matches, and the final will take place on November 19 in Ahmedabad. Eight out of ten teams have been finalized, while two more will be announced after the conclusion of the World Cup Qualifier 2023 in Zimbabwe. Bangladesh made it to the tournament as one of the top teams in Super League Qualifiers.

The best performance for Bangladesh came in 2015, when they reached the quarterfinals. Bangladesh will open their campaign with a match against Afghanistan on October 7 (Saturday) at HPCA Stadium in Dharmsala. They will play their nine games in six different venues across India. Their match against India will take place on October 19 at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
