The 19th edition of the Asian Games is all set to start in a few days. It was scheduled to take place in 2022 but was postponed due to COVID. This coming tournament will start on September 19, and it will have a total of 40 different sports activities and 61 disciplines. Among these sports, cricket has also returned Asian games since 2014. As a result, the Indian team has also sent their cricket team for the first time to participate in this competition. The cricket tournament will have women’s and men’s competitions. The women’s tournament will take place between September 19 and 25. On the other hand, the men’s competition will take place between September 27 and October 7.
Asian Games 2023 Cricket schedule
There are three groups. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh will directly play in the quarterfinals because of the rankings. The first game in the men’s competition will take place on September 27 between Nepal and Mongolia.
