We are just a few months away from the start of the 2023 ODI World Cup. On June 27, the International Cricket Council (ICC) also revealed the complete schedule with the selected venues that will host the World Cup matches in India. It will be the first time that India solely hosts the entire tournament with one of the best infrastructures in the world.
The tournament will begin with a rematch of the 2019 final between England and New Zealand. This game will take place at the biggest cricket stadium in the world, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on October 5. Ten teams will compete in a total of 48 games to get their hands on one of the most prestigious trophies in the sports industry. It will be only Afghanistan’s third appearance in the ODI World Cup, and they will want to make it memorable.
