4. Brad Hodge (2015 to 2017 season)
Former Australian middle-order batter Brad Hodge is one of those players who has captained the Strikers in the BBL. He was part of the team between the 2014 and 2017 seasons. During this time, he also led the team. Hodge led the Strikers in a total of 17 games, winning 10 and losing 7. He played 54 games in total for the Strikers and scored 593 runs at an average of 42.35.
3. Johan Botha (led in 23 names)
Former South African all-rounder Johan Botha joined the Stikers in the inaugural season of 2011. He played for them until the 2015 season. During his stint with the team, he also captained in 23 games and won 12, suffered 9 defeats, and had two games end without a result. Under his captaincy, the Strikers reached the semi-final in the 2014 season. Botha overall played 27 games, picked up 20 wickets, and scored 302 runs.
2. Peter Siddle (led in 27 games)
Veteran Australian pacer Peter Siddle was one of those players who led the franchise in the Big Bash League. He joined the team in 2017 and has become an integral part of the team. Siddle also led the Strikers to 12 wins and 15 defeats as a captain in 27 games. He is also the second-highest wicket-taker for them. Siddle has picked up 91 wickets in 72 games for them.
1. Travis Head* (27 games and still)
The man who led the Adelaide Strikers to glory in the Big Bash League is veteran Australian wicketkeeper and batter Travis Head. He is also the current captain of the team, having led them to victory in his first season as captain in 2017. Although he didn’t captain the side in between, he became the full-time captain again in 2022–23. Head has led in a total of 28 games and has 17 wins and 11 defeats to his name. He has also scored 1394 runs in 57 matches for the franchise.
