Cricket Schedule 2013
For the all the cricketing fans around the world it is time they got some good news for cricket 2013. The year is filled with some of the best and the most anticipated clashes of all times and to make the year ending of 2012 and the year beginning of 2013 more exciting the cricket schedule 2013 has already been set up and the first of the big clashes will start from October 2012 itself. In the middle of November there will be another big fight between India and England but this time England will be in India and as the experts say, this is going to be a revenge taking series after the complete whitewash which India had when they last went to England. This series will consist of 4 test matches, followed by 2 T20s and then 5 ODIs. India will play another series in between and that will be the mother of all cricket matches because Pakistan will be touring India for 3 ODIs and 2 T20s in December and January.
This year the ICC cricket schedule 2013 has been planned after taking various tournaments into consideration. Since there are 3 major domestic tournaments in the year no such series has been kept during that time. The cricket fans from all round the globe will be waiting to see the series between South Africa and Australia. After that the most awaited Big Bash League will start in December and will continue till late January next year. 8 teams will fight to become the champions of this prestigious domestic tournament and the stakes are pretty high this year. In February and March India would face Australia for 4 test matches and the matches will be played on a neutral country in West Indies. These two teams have always given the cricketing fans a lot to cheer about and they would do that once again when this series begins. This upcoming cricket series will be a testing time for the Indian captain because his overseas has not been good at all.
In April the biggest domestic tournament will be starting known as the Indian Premiere League. There will be 76 matches in all and it will end in late May. This tournament has been an important fixture in the past schedules and in the 2013 cricket schedule this will again be one of the biggest talking points with more and more new players coming up. Soon after this tournament ends the cricket playing nations will get busy for yet another prestigious tournament, the Champions Trophy. In the cricket calendar 2013 this tournament will play a big part in the ICC teams ranking. So the countries will try to put in the best efforts in order to win the trophy and become the champion of champions. The time between July and September will be important for two teams namely England and Australia because there will be a lengthy series of 5 tests followed by 2 T20s and 6 ODIs. The test matches will be a separate series because they have been declared as the Ashes by ICC.
In October 2013 Australia will be touring India for 7 ODI matches and 1 T20 match and soon after this series end the Aussies would be flying back to their home because England would be touring them for the Ashes in November and December for 5 test matches. The year 2013 will end with one of the most discussed series in the ICC cricket schedule 2013 because India will be visiting South Africa for this series in November. The Proteas would be looking to defeat the Indians because the last time when India toured South Africa they could not win the series and the trophy had to be shared as the teams won an equal number of matches.
