The Western Australia Cricket Association stadium, popularly known as WACA, is a sports stadium located in the city of Perth in Australia. The stadium came into being in the year 1890. Currently it has a capacity of more than 24,000 spectators.

The WACA is known around the world for its pitch. It has one of the fastest & bounciest wickets in the world. That is why; it is regarded as the Mecca of Fast Bowlers. Apart from cricket, the WACA is also used for hosting ARF, baseball, soccer & rugby matches.

The first test match at the WACA was played in the year 1970 between Australia & England. The first ODI on this ground was played in 1980 between Australia & New Zealand, while the first T20I on this ground was played in 2007 between the same two teams.
