The Nehru Stadium in Indore, India is a cricket stadium with a capacity of 25,000. Earlier it was known as the Yashwant Club Ground & it used to be the home ground of the Holkars in the Ranji Trophy. The stadium is used for hosting only ODI matches as it has only one-day status from the ICC. The first ODI on this ground was played in the year 1983 between India & West Indies.

The stadium had its share of controversy when in 1997 it was banned by the ICC for two years from hosting any international matches. It was done after a one-day match between India & Sri Lanka was called off in the third over as both the captains as well as the umpires found the pitch too dangerous for players. The stadium had its last ODI match in 2001 when Sachin Tendulker became the first batsman ever in the history of cricket to cross the 10,000 run mark in ODI.
