Warner Park Stadium, located in Basseterre in St. Kitts, was the first of seven new venues that were built for the 2007 Cricket World Cup which was held in the Caribbean. It was opened for use in 2006 & today has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. The stadium has another section where soccer matches are held. It cost the authorities $12 million to build this stadium. Most of that money was provided by Taiwan.

The eastern side of this ground has no stand which was done to allow easterlies to enter the ground & cool everyone around. The first ODI on this ground was played in May, 2006 between West Indies & India. The first test match was played a month later in June between the same two teams. The first T20I on this ground was played in 2009 between West Indies & Bangladesh.
