Mumbai Indians is one of the 10 teams that are currently playing in the IPL. The team is owned by the Reliance Industries Ltd & it is playing in the tournament since the very first edition of the tournament. As its name suggests, the team is based in the Indian city of Mumbai & the Wankhede stadium as well as the Brabourne stadium in the city acts as their home grounds. In terms of brand value the team is currently ranked no.2 after the Chennai Super Kings.

The team is currently captained by legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar & coached by ex-Indian cricketer Robin Singh. Other notable members of this team are Rohit Sharma, T Suman, James Franklin, Keiron Pollard, Andrew Symonds, Harbhajan Singh, Munaf Patel, Lasith Malinga, Raymond Price etc.
