New Zealand will be embarking on one of the most ambitious tours of recent times, when they will play a series against West Indies in the Caribbean on June 2012. The international bilateral competition of New Zealand vs West Indies 2012 will be organized by the West Indies Cricket Board, as per the announcement made by the International Cricket Council. Just like most recent series, West Indies vs New Zealand 2012 will be a part of the Future Tour Programs, an innovative concept initiated by the ICC to promote the game globally, and encourage more people to participate in cricketing events.

New Zealand tour of West Indies kick starts from June 30, Saturday, 2012. Both these teams will battle out in all forms of the game, including Test Cricket, One Day International encounters and T20 Internationals. The series will begin with the shortest format of the game - 2 match T20 Series. The T20 matches will be followed by ODI series composed of 5 matches. At last, both teams will engage in the longest form of the game, that is, 2 Test matches. Although New Zealand stands a better chance according to recent cricketing trend, the mercurial West Indies team may surely cause some upset.
