It seems the sub continental teams are enjoying their time on Caribbean soil while the West Indies team is failing to reach to the title despite of competitive cricketing show on the field. First, India and Sri Lanka reached final of the tri series involving West Indies, which India won; then Pakistan won the ODI series against the home side. And now, Pakistan has made merry in the 2 match T20 series against West Indies. Pakistan batted first in the second T20 match following their win in the first T20 match. The opener Ahmed Shehzad along with wicketkeeper batsman Umar Akmal gave a commendable start to the visiting side. However, Narine and party chipped in with some quick wickets. This restricted Pakistan on 135 runs for 7 wickets in their 20 over time period.

The West Indian chase of the considerably modest total, with regard to the big hitting Caribbean cricketers, was woeful. The top order of Caribbean side stumbled big time and the task of chasing was left for the lower middle order and the tail of West Indies batting. Bravo along with Narine and Pollard provided some resistance and gave hope to the home crowd of a probable T20 series tie.

However, the Pakistan bowlers shared responsibility as almost each of the bowlers chipped in with wickets and West Indies fell short by 11 runs. Umar Akmal was awarded Man of the Match for his unbeaten knock while Babar was given the Man of the Series award for his bowling.
